Chapter 3 of A Cold Fey In Hell is now available for everyone on my patreon page here and chapter 4 is available for patrons. I had hoped to have it on Patreon on Friday but I've been having major writers block along with the depression and stuff lately and then yesterday my internet was down all day. Hopefully getting a chapter of something finished means that I'll soon be back to my regular schedule here on BCTS.

So last night I got my first Covid shot and thus far nothing too serious in the way of side effects. It feels good to have it done with and I already have my second dose scheduled for August so I'll be properly immunized before I move to wherever it is I end up going to start my life over. I have a few possibilities that I'm looking into for that.
I was hoping that I'd be able to get some writing done this month, but between the depression, anxiety, and sleeplessness it's been difficult to get anywhere Things were bad enough, but Martin broke up with me on Saturday and I've spent most of the time since crying my eyes out. We're going to keep living together for the summer, and I'm going to spend a lot of that time working on myself but now I have to figure out what to do from here. I can't stay in Quebec, hell it hurts too much just to stay with Martin and I need to go somewhere where I can get my medical needs addressed.
It's been a really rough week and a half since I last blogged. I've been having trouble fighting off the anxiety and depression, I've had hope given and taken away again on the medical front, and now I have a terrible cold on top. I've really tried to write chapters this week, but I just haven't had the spoons for it. Sorry everyone, but I'm going to head back to bed and hope that I can shake all of this off.
I've had a busy few days. Between that, not sleeping much again lately, my thumb still slowing things down, and a busy weekend ahead I just don't think that I'll be able to post chapters of either I Wish or MSPD this week. So I'm going to try to get a solid night or two of sleep and rest my thumb and brain between getting things done over the next few days.
Just a quick note to let you all know that I won't be able to post the new chapter or MSPD until tomorrow night. It's practically finished but Martin ended up working a double shift today and won't be home until after midnight. Since s/he also has to get up for work tomorrow at five that means we'll have no time to do the editing together until s/he gets home tomorrow evening. I am working on something else though and may have some other stuff to post soonish.
Just a quick note to let you all know that Apocalypse Dawn and I Wish might be a bit late this week. I've had a busy couple of days and it's really cut into my writing time. I'm working on the new chapter of AD now, but I don't know if I'm going to have it finished and edited tonight. So, it's sort-of likely that both stories will be a day late this week unless I'm super productive.
So, I just checked to see how my first book is doing on amazon.com and discovered that I Wish is currently #10 in Teen & Young Adult LGBT Fiction in the kindle store. I'm really excited about this, I never really thought that many people would read anything I wrote when I started writing, much less have a book in the top ten of a category like that. So I would like to take a moment to thank Erin and all the girls at Big Closet and DopplerPress and all of my readers for your support. It means a lot to me.
I've been trying really hard to finish the new chapter of Apocalypse Dawn, or anything really the past few days, but it's just not happening. For a week, since I got my medical coverage sorted out, I've been trying to find a new doctor, or at the very least someone to renew my prescriptions for my hormones and meds, but so far I can't even get so much as an intake appointment for eight months to a year. The walk-in clinics won't write a new prescription for me either, unless I have a standing one from a local doctor.
Hey everyone, sorry about this, but I don't think that I'm going to get a chapter of MPSD out this week. It's been kind of a tumultuous week (though a lot of it has been in a good way) and I've been behind on writing and everything because of it. I'm worn out and I don't have any energy so I think it best I just take a day or two to rest, relax my brain, and try to get back on schedule for this upcoming week. I can't wait until I get my medical card so I can see a doctor about getting back on my meds and hormones and actually feel energetic again.
Just letting you all know that I probably won't be posting any chapters this week. I was trying my best to get Apocalypse Dawn ready to post for today, but I caught a bad cold over the weekend and it's just kicking my ass. Between the sinus headache, the coughing, having no energy at all, and my inability to focus it's probably better that I just take it easy and get some rest.
Hey readers. I'm very sorry but MSPD won't be posted again until next weekend. We've been so busy the past three days with dealing with things now that Martin got his first paycheck. We got a lot done and did some shopping and hopefully we'll have our medical cards in the next week or two so I can deal with getting on my meds and hormones again. So things are looking good.
Hey everyone, just a quick note to let you all know that MSPD won't be posted today. I'm going to try for tomorrow, but it's been a long week, I'm a bit depressed, anxious, and exhausted both mentally and physically and I just don't seem to have any spoons to spare the last few days. Hopefully I'll feel more capable or energetic tomorrow since there's a lot of writing I want to get done once I actually have the spoons for it.
For those of you following Apocalypse Dawn, I have added a considerable amount from my story notes and background info to the appendix over the last few days to make things a bit easier to keep track of. I've added a character list of sorts, as well as some information on monsters and other creatures that have been mentioned at some point in the story and maybe even things that haven't been yet. Just let me know if there is anything that I missed or should add, though I'll be keeping any spoilers to myself ;)
Hey everyone, I was really hoping to have a chapter of MSPD ready for this weekend, especially after being sick last week, but the past few days have been pretty busy and I've had no writing time so it probably won't be ready until next weekend.
Just a quick note to let everyone know that I've been stuck in bed with the flu the past few days, and while I'm feeling a little better today I'm still not quite up to writing so the next chapter of MSPD probably won't be posted this week. I'm hoping to be on schedule with Apocalypse Dawn though if I continue to feel better over the next day or so.
I'm just posting this to let you all know that the next chapter of Apocalypse Dawn won't be posted today. My long weekend was, well long, and between being busier than I had hoped and still being in one of my insomnia/nightmares cycles I didn't have as much time or brain power to work on it or other projects as I was hoping. I will be posting a chapter, but it's only partially done and probably won't be ready and edited until tomorrow, or Thursday at the latest. Sorry about this, but I want to make sure it's done right rather than trying to rush it.
So it's that day again and I'm feeling bleh. Things still aren't going great in my life and I'm in the middle of another insomnia/nightmares cycle again so I get maybe two or three solid hours a night once I finally drift off and then I wake terrified from nightmares, ptsd flashbacks, or a mix of both that are so realistic and terrifying that it takes me a good hour to shake them off and realize what reality actually is.
