Hi everyone!

I finally found my way to the blog on TS! I wanted to interact with my readers a bit more and I thought I'd start posting some information about what's going on with my story writing.

I have several stories that are partly complete and a bunch that are complete but that I have not yet posted. One of the incompletes is about a Halloween party gone wrong. Another is about a character who finds herself through her ballet lessons and her friends. A third is about a different kind of summer camp, but that one... well, it's starting to get a bit hard to believe... I'm thinking on how to proceed with that one. Anyway, another is about a boy who has to dress as a girl to save the girl he loves from getting in undeserved trouble.

Another is a short series of stories that I started writing a few years back as an ongoing story. I started writing stories as a way of making some "surrogate memories" because there's so much I missed out on as a transwoman. I was also using them to help myself figure out whether I was a woman or not. In retrospect, that seems out of order somehow, but then I'm sure I knew about myself before I had it figured out -- even if only subconsciously.

Then, of course, there are the story themes I'm tempted to try, like the kidnapping theme, and the ghost story theme.

I am definitely eager to continue writing. My next step is to decide what to write about. Please feel free to let me know if any of the above sounds interesting to you.

Thanks for reading!

Lisa

I think most of us are here to work things out.

At least that is what brought me here. Started out on storysite but one thing led to another and here I am on BCTS. I have migrated what I consider to be my best stuff here, some of it after extensive editing.

So, I say welcome to ya. I hope that you have a nice time. :)

I really like what I have seen so far.

I think you're right

Writing out one's thoughts, whether it's in story format or not, is therapeutic. These days, I'm kind of back to making up for things I never got to experience -- and I really am grieving for that -- but I am also drawn to romantic themes. I'm still trying to find romance in my life and these stories are kind of a way of practicing and working on some of my irrational fears.

Anyway, thanks for your kind words, Gwendolyn, and thanks for reading!
