Mountains and wine

Calling Austria DOWN under is funny considering their mountains. This reminds me of a scandal many year ago when some Austrian wine-producers added glycol to their wine. Wine exports from Australia to Japan plummeted!

Australia - up there, down under ...

Greetings

There are just a few differences between Austria and Australia. :)

Austria is landlocked, though has access to the sea through River Danube. Australia is an island.

The lowest point of Austria is about 115m/380ft low, highest point 12460 ft/(3798 m. While the highest mountain of Australia is 2228m/7310ft high. The centre of Australia is below sea level (49ft/15m).

I have visited both countries, some years between those holidays.
