Today's Sun (yes, that esteemed newspaper) headlines with the following tale:

Exclusive: Mum fights bigots
I'm a boy, says twin girl, 6

You can read the first couple of sentences of the online version of the story, but they've followed the lead of their stablemate The Times and paywalled the rest.

Tomorrow's Papers Today has a high-res scan of the dead tree version of front page on Imgur. Quickly flicking to the inside coverage while at Tesco to skim the article for their spin, they have a callout mentioning something along the lines of it being increasingly recognised that not everyone's 100% girl or boy, while also mentioning Enid Blyton's character "George" from the Famous Five stories before ending with contact details for Mermaids.

(Oh, and if you missed the other main featured story which most media sources reported on yesterday, Tom Daley - British olympic-level diver - has come out as bisexual.)
(The "Mo Go" story? It apparently relates to IAC-GMOOH!)

Perhaps ...

... it would be interesting to do a brain scan using the techniques recently used to show the (alleged) differences between male and female brains. First they're identical twins and secondly are nowhere near puberty.

Whether it would be in the interests or not of the children themselves is a different matter.
