I know many of us think about gender roles and physiology. Here's a story about an interesting study which looks at how the size of a man's testicles might affect how he relates to his children.

Spoiler: Men with smaller testicles, on average, take a more nurturing role in child rearing.

So here is a thought...

If a guy with average size testicles wants to get into a gang - he might get silicone implants? Testical augmentation surgery might become the 'latest craze'?

Oh - I just had a disturbing thought...

If a woman were looking for a man to have a family with and met a man with LARGE testicles, might she insist he have testicle reduction surgery??? So that he would be a more nurturing father?

interesting but really pretty obvious

We know (MAN do we know) that the source of testosterone is the Testes. so bigger would generally mean MORE right? (now i said generally) so more T, more aggressive, etc. less T less aggressive more caring/nurturing, etc. seems pretty obvious to me.

as to modification for various reasons, size might affect, but it could be a new "craze" same as breast, butt, etc implants. who knows, but only the stupid and vapid follow crazes and with enough "accidents" maybe they can clean up the gene pool a little :D

Now I would like to know if

Now I would like to know if there was a correclation between testes size and likelyness to become father in the first place...

I have first-hand experience

with low-T and more sensitivity. I've dealt with low-T all my life, but in the last 2 years, it's been WAY low. As in 1/10 of the low-end of the scale. At the same time, female co-workers have noticed that I'm, in their words, more sensitive and less brash and hasty. I also get along much better with my daughter. My wife, on the other hand, seems less thrilled - I guess she thinks I'm not the man she married (at least my balls aren't!)

Apparently, I have enough T to father children, or at least HAD, but it's been dropping like a stone since.

Maybe if I enrolled in a study of this, I could pick up some extra cash? Enough for an implant to make them bigger?

Or, since I'm so sensitive now, should I use the extra cash (if I get in a paid study) for breast implants to make me even softer and more gentle? :) :)
