HAPPY NEW YEAR

ROSH HASHANA

According to the Jewish Calendar, tonight, after sundown and tomorrow is Elul 25,and it is, Day One of Creation. As it says in the Torah, "Bereishit Bara Elohim", or “In the beginning of G-d's creating...". Therefore, it is the birthday of the world. Could HaShem have started it with a BIG BANG, only the Al-Mighty knows for sure. Nevertheless it is Big Bang Day.

Rosh Hashana, is the Jewish New Year. Rosh Hashana begins this year on Wednesday Night and runs two days Thursday and Friday. While it is the New Year, it commemorates the time (the sixth day of creation), when humankind is called into being, when Adam and Chava (Eve) were created, which was the culmination of G-d's creation. The world is for all of us to make it better.

To all of my many friends here at BCTS who celebrate it, I wish you:

Leshana Tova Tikateiv V'Techateim
Leshana Tova Tikateivi Vetichatemi

"May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year."

For all of you who celebrate it:
May all your prayers be granted,
and May you enjoy this holiday with your family and loved ones.
May the sounds of the shofar, the Tekiah, the Shevarim, the Teruah and the Tekiah Gedolah fill you with awe.

Enjoy your Kenaidels, Honey Cake and your new fruits.

Sincerely

RAMI
