Mann is one of the names of the political entity that inhabits the Isle of Man. It's self-governing and has one of the oldest parliaments in the world. It is not part of the UK but is subject to the English Crown. The monarch of England is also the Lord of Mann and yes, the Queen is the Lord of Mann because that is the title.

Perhaps shockingly...

...The Daily Wail article's readers appear to be largely in support of same sex marriage (or, at least, those who were motivated enough to leave a comment or rate an existing one!)

Their Lordships were also on the ball:

MPs last night decided not to oppose a number of minor changes made by the Lords to the Bill.

Among the changes agreed were protections for transgender couples which will allow people to change sex and remain married.


As the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, then only left-handers are in their right mind!
