Some of the (reality)celebrities and real girls from on TV, have decided (got paid) to talk about the way women look at being a woman and what the issue woman have to do and deal with on a daily basis.

The show I am talking about is MTVs' "GIRL CODE". The Girl Code is about the lifestyles of 20 and 30 somethings.
This show is a tad racy, at times. The show shows the secret side to some of the things we glorify at this site.
I did not know most woman do NOT make contact with a toilet seat, well out clubbing unless they are really drunk.
It has things like waxing, drinking of alcoholic drinks, snooping on your partner, room mates, dating, bathroom lines, and fashion pressures.

But, I will say I have not seen more then 3 episodes, GirlCode marathon for mother's day.
Which brings us to the fact there is 2 new episodes, come Tuesday 9:30 and 10:30pm. It also has a bunch of stuff on the internet.
This show is still relatively, new it started airing April.

So, I think just give one episode a chance, it is borderline offensive, but it is also educational on the issues of what is to be a girl/woman.

Not sitting aka hovering

Its a myth that "most" women hover. Specially when drunk. In fact a small percentage of women are so squeamish they belong in an episode of seinfeld! They give the rest of us a bad reputation. What you will find in most womens bags are disposible wipes. If the bitch before you leaves a mess or youre worried you give the seat a wipe and sit with confidence.

If youre having a yeast episode you give another wipe when youre done to prevent anyone from having to go through the hell you are.

I think those how dont sit dont realise that hovering puts them at higher risk of splash back at the added kinetic energy mask the drops splash higher!!!

Dont believe everything you hear on tv.

Peer pressure means if youre girlies say its gross you better agree or your backstabbing friends will ridicule you. And no boy wants to touch youre pissy whoohoo.

Laughing!!

MTV as a reputable source

I think you are making a major mistake if you use MTV as a source for anything anymore. They are the shock and disgust network for tweens and teens. And now they appear to be trying to snare the twenty-somethings. If the BS they are airing was actually true, there wouldn't be a market for it. Instead, they make up all this weird stuff to make their audience Oh! and AH! over the supposed "insider secrets". Let's face it, if it's real life it wouldn't be on TV.

Try not to

Think too much on those kinds of things. The real differences between girls and boys is a lot smaller than society makes them out to be. There are a billion different types of boys, and there are a billion different types of girls too. The types of girls that this show represents is a fraction of the real world. Not to say some girls don't actually do the things they're talking about, of course there are girls like that.

But honestly, don't put too much into things like that part of being human is being our own special snowflake and being our gender in OUR way. Even if 99.9% of girls didn't like something I did, I'd still like it regardless and I"d be part .1% of girls that like that, and there is nothing wrong with that mew :D

Difference in Girls and Boys

yes, but we live in a gender binary part of the world called western society.

Be side the differences between the 2 sides recognize is the fun part.
It world be less fun if all the guys-guys, wore formal dresses to dinner and all the girly-girls pumped iron.
That are not just bigoted views , they are ALSO part of a bigger over arching process of thought and processing of the social normative.
We determine the type of girl or guy as the action(s) you take from a base of your gender. There are guys in dresses with out a need to be women (some are even quite pretty), and there are for sure, women of many types that are strong in thought, mind, body, and/or many other ways.

So, my point is it was another resource to add, just because it come from the haters does not mean you can not gain from from the common truths that others experience, even if it is from the extremes. Most women (the genetic ones) have had a problem with breast itch and question whether tampons or pads. And unless you raise the question(s), you often will not get the answer you are looking for or need.

In the action to be clear I value you opinion but find it, wanting of balance in this case. There is common and not so common things to "people" as you say, but you have draw a common thread between the groups or you can not communicate. An example, a tomboy of the type that played sports and out wrestle the boys can still go to prom with a cute escort. Now, is that 'girl' a boy for playing sports? A girl for going to prom? A straight or homosexual and does any of it matter? No, in the broad definitions, but my point is definition let us most of the time speak and communicate to one or the other. So, in my opinion you have to look to the common and not as often the uncommon.

Uncommon things exist, think about it we as a population of this web community exist and that is WAY out side of the norms of what people even now expect and that is tough on the common, lay person. But, even that exception has merit in the way it can be viewed.
