Last night I had a dream, in which I was lost looking for a hospital downtown in a strange city. (I think I was supposed to be working there).

I kept getting involved in the affairs of a group of gangsters, and managing to just get out of the way before things got dangerous.

The only really scary moment was when one of these hoods gave me a slap, I think for being trans.

My response was an interesting one. I didnt cry, back down, or try and fight back. I just stood there, looked him in the eye, and said, "I'm not hurting anybody. I'm just standing here!"

Eventually, I got away again, and found someone who knew where the hospital was, and was headed there when I woke up.

So... what do you think?

Had an odd dream last night

Did you eat anything unusual, or tasted funny, or drink? Or are you taking meds that causes dreams?

Can we turn it into a story

Can we turn it into a story like John Woo style with guns and flying through the air and explosions and doves flying around? Seriously I think its a manifestation of how you really feel, you are just trying to be you. Despite obstacles you are not trying to hurt anyone just be happy and who your heart says you are.

I wear this crown of thorns
Upon my liar's chair
Full of broken thoughts
I cannot repair

Perhaps??

...the hoodlum who accosted you represents the opposition you've faced on your way to the 'hospital,' which could very well represent your movement to complete your transition and live as you are? Just a thought.

Many times, dreams are provoked by something one is preoccupied with at the time.

Don't tell me about strange dreams...

I had one nasty dream where my ex had FTM surgery and it was so realistic that at one point I was thinking "What a shame it's not a dream!"
And tried to wake up unsuccessfully. Was "saved" by my alarm.
And after another dream I have hard time talking to customer. It's struggle to keep myself from asking how work with Discovery Channel is going - I had an extremely realistic dream where they were filming our project. It is still at least a year till there will be something to shoot on site :-)
