Another one today, with a lot of sharing. The statistic for the day was a set of percentages: 35, 21, 15.
Those are the UK suicide attempt figures for transfolk. They refer to one attempt, two attempts, and three-plus attempts. I got some very...understanding looks when I placed myself in the middle group. There was anger as well as sadness, as we had one of our own who was 'poster girl' for getting her marriage legalised, though even then she had to fight off the attentions of Rupert Murdoch's slimy empire.
in the end, though I had to fight tears once or twice, it was a good day, and I managed to add a couple of new contacts to my list.
