I'm glad to see it passed. I was sad to read that the equal access provision was removed, but not surprised. There's still a lot of educating to do.

Yes, unfortunately, this sort of change has to go in steps. Even the watered down version helps, and when the average person sees the world doesn't go to hell and the doomsday predictions of the bigots failed to come true, then they're ready for the next step...

The bigots themselves, of course, are never ready. Even when the rest of society has moved on.
