Don’t ya just hate it when you are trying so hard to be good and finish a story only to have your muse dump a brilliant new idea right in your lap that behaves like a puppy, all bouncy and excited, leaping up and licking your face in an effort to get you to pay attention to it?

Well, besides working on OSW instead of paying attention to WTUD and C, who wait patiently at my feet like a pair of tried and true hunting dogs, I have managed to corrupt my favorite Anglo-Saxon/Irish co-conspirator/co-writer/sister-by-choice. Rather than leave her press on with a smashing idea of a story she wishes to pitch into and has been mapping out with a brutal efficiency that is more Teutonic than Anglo-Saxon, I have placed a Wonka bar right in front of her, one she is trying so hard to resist.

So, the gauntlet has been thrown down. The question is will she be able to resist taking a bite of that Wonka bar? Or will she press on with grim determination, digging her heels into the flanks of her muse and charge home with her new story?

Inquiring minds want to know.
