Am I imagining things...

...or has the Daily Wail actually published a sympathetic and sensitive article on the subject? Not to mention the bulk of the user comments are supportive as well. Wow!

Oh am I so conflicted...

...I can't see my wife and my son sitting next to me smiling and joking and having a wonderful relationship like that in any lifetime, and that hurts. But I still love me, even if they don't quite know Andrea. That's worth the trade off for any dream, believe me! Still, I must say, "SIGH"

It's a risk...

It's a BIG risk - all of us with families have to take, if we get to the point we HAVE to come out. Some of us are pleasantly surprised. Best wishes to you Andrea...

Best wishes to you!

Interesting...

Guess I'm glad my 14 year old accepts that I AM a woman, rather than "wants to be" one. My wife & kids had some issues working out what to call me though. I'm glad none of them wanted to keep calling me "Dad" or "daddy" (except when they have to)! Several things they tried. The one thing I'll not be is "mommy" - that's my wife. At first they tried "mother" but felt that was too formal. The daughters decided to take a "hint" from a Brit friend of ours - and call me "Momma Anne"... :-) I can live with that! (They tried "Momma Annette" too - but that sounded funny to them.

I found the article and interview quite interesting. Thanks for sharing.

Anne
