OKAY, NOW I'M TELLING EVERYONE.

Of course most of you will not be able to make it. Last October 14, Arecee, MonaLisa, Rachel Anne, shalimar, Heather Rose Brown & I got together in a park in Walnut Creek, CA, when Erin was up this way.

( Rachel, shalimar and I all seem to think we had one more person, but can only name the seven listed above. I'm sorry if you were there and we are missing your name.

A number of people said, "Why didn't you tell me? I would have tried to make it," or words to that effect.

Erin will be up this way again, sometime in April, and we'd like to do it again.

But this can only be a first alert.

We do not have a date yet ...
We do not have a place, yet ...
( and the April weather can be a bit iffy ).

Last time we were lucky. October is usually dry, but we got rain here, about a week after our barbecue in wonderful weather.

I'd like to hope we can do a barbecue in the park again, but we might have to switch to an all you can eat buffet, or something if the weather goes sour.

Right now, all I can say is keep it in mind, and maybe, send me a private message if you think you might want to come. Then, I can keep you posted.

Walnut Creek is the most likely place, and it will definitely be somewhere in the San Francisco Bay Area.

You will have to make it here on your own, we are not flying people in from the other side of either pond, or even from much closer.

We can pick someone up if they can get to Walnut Creek on BART, however. If you do not know BART, google it.

I truely wish I could go

but unless a TARDIS shows up to take me, I am stuck. Enjoy.

That's an interesting idea!

I almost certainly will not be at that gathering, as funds really will just not allow (I struggle routinely with local bus fare; out-of-state is out of the question), but it might be fun to try and do something more local. Anyone in Utah and interested? Or at least in Utah and willing to be persuaded to be interested? ~__^

Interested? Yes!

Liz,

I always enjoy meeting new friends. What part of Utah do you call home; northern, central, or southern?

Give me another 4 weeks for my leg to heal up properly, and another 8 weeks to financially catch up with the loss of income, and I'd love to come calling on some friends.

As for getting out to Walnut Creak in April, I think that's very doubtful. However, if there is another get-together sometime in the fall, I think I would be in a much better position to pay my mom a visit.

tempted.

Tempted to come from accross the pond. That's the one Columbus crossed or was it Cabot or was it St Brendan or was it Eric the red or some guy even earlier than that.
How do I get from SF Airport to Walnut Creek.
Hertz I suppose.

Beverly.

P.S. Last time I was in Frisco they didn't even have a transit system.

It's a historical thing.

By the way.

Do we party?

Is America ready for Beverly I ask myself.

Growing old disgracefully.
