I'm sorry to say that Once the Hero has been delayed again. I'd finished the story even before I began posting but because of feedback and earlier tweaks, I heavily edited the last and final chapter. It is now some 6 thousand words longer and I hope ties up a few more loose ends.

Currently it is off to the wonderful Kimmie and Hope so they can do their magic. When they're finished and I have a chance to give it that one last read of approval I'll go ahead and post it.

I hoped that it would've been ready but it was not to be. :(

Sigh...

Only 6000 more?

A breese in the park for you or is that a walk in the park?

Plus proofers/editors need the occasional abuse to keep them on their toes.

Well maybe we do

... but you haven't had much opportunity to do much of that of late, eh?

:-P.

Since the delays...

I wanted to ask whether you will still follow the original schedule of posting or you will decide to post it simultaneously?

And I take it the delay will be only a couple of days, best case?

OTH the Final Chapter

Well folks that depends on exactly when I receive the proofed copy and when I can read it though. Part 14 is at about 16 thousand words, so it takes a little time to really look at it. My normal posts were at an average of around 10k words. It is the last chapter. If too near the end of the week I'll wait till Sunday. On the other hand if I get it in the next day or two I try and have it up by Wed.

I refuse however to rush the ladies proofing for me. They're doing this for free, (Okay so they get to have the first peek!) I was at fault because of getting it to them late. More rewriting than I expected and Real Life (straight from cold and flu season into pollen and allergy season! And don't forget those Dang migraines!)

After this last post of OTH, it'd be awhile before I have anything else ready. Somethings are simmering on the back burners but it won't be soup for some time.

Thanks for your support everyone!

Hugs!
