We had a leak inside a wall that we were unaware of until it started making a circle of carpet wet. They came to fix it today and ripped a nice hole in the wall so they could replace the pipe, stirring up a fair amount of dust. I don't know what set me off, mold in the carpet or wall, the dust the workmen made or smoke from the fires on the mountains--I didn't think much about it til about 20 minutes ago when I almost passed out before realizing I was having an asthma attack. Good old inhaler put me right but of course now I've got a headache and I probably won't sleep tonight from the side effects. Better than a trip to the emergency room, though. :)

Oxygen! It's what's for dinner! I'm functioning at about 40% folks, please bear with us during technical difficulties. :)

If it wasn't for bad health,

Erin, you'd have no health at all! Seriously, you do seem to have more than your fair share of medical problems. Please, PLEASE take care of your health first! We will survive your temporary absence, your permanant absence would be devestating.

Remember: Health first, website second.

Love & Hugs!

I'm Okay

I have been sick a lot this last six months and I think this area is unhealthy. At the end of thr month, I'm moving back in with my Mom, higher up the mountain where the air is cleaner. Too much dust here. The only thing I have to worry about in Calimesa is junipers--oh, and wildfires. :)

No, they seldom get close to the town but the smoke from them is toxic, at least to me, because of burning poison oak.

Have You Concidered ...

...moving to an island in the remote south pacific.

Asthma is a nasty disease. It contributed to my Aunt Winnie's death from heart failure in her mid 60s, and made my sister more supceptable to pneumonia which laid her up for a week in the hospital a while back. Molds produce all kinds of toxins, penicilin came from mold -- so do some cheeses --, so I hope it was purely the alergic reaction, and not something worse.

Sorry to seem a worrywort, normally I'm not.

Best wishes, get well. Mars needs more silly pictures to make bad gags about.

Hum, that line needs work.

P.S. I'm working on spiffing up some of my Timeout Whateley Fan Fic and hope to post here soon. Thanks for the encouragement.
