Hey everyone! Part 7 is up at Stardust.
As Faraway pointed out I did change the picture from the XM-109 to one of some concept art I've found of the "Die Glocke." My purpose in posting pictures is to show interesting real world items I used in my story or give some idea of what I had in mind like the rough pic of the Rocket. The "Die Glocke" and Xerun 525 is one of those supposedly secret projects the Germans had underway at the end of WWII. Conspiracy theorists has it involved in everything from time travel to Nazi Flying Saucers. Writers such as Dean Koontz and James Rollins has used it as a plot device, so I guess I'm in good company! The monstrous rifle I had my snipers using was a proposed version of the XM-109. Truly a BFG!
As Faraway has also noticed, I am making changes as problems are found. Some like Ollie's voder is continuity fixes while others are grammar repairs found by HER and Kimmie. Not to say those are the only ones who has helped me improve this story of mine but they are certainly the most frequent finger pointers! :) Thanks folks!

Sigh. I really don't know whether I want for an all-out clash scenario - the direction your ULTIMATE Verse seems to be going - take place. Too many confusing stimuli.

.. then I am. Then again, I did manage to slip in that scene with Captain Blazzar and the tub of jello and ...
I for one would be open to a split in terms of how victory is attained. ULTIMATE I think is the real enemy here and I hope it does not turn out to be an overly confusing array of battles BUT it will be fun I think in any event. I just pray and hope Maggie and Val come out more or less whole in the end, though I suspect Val will not escape unchanged :-).
