following a storm that would have made Noah go..."Ok. I give up." Grover and I are safely ensconced in our room. Grover is reading...I am destressing. We've already met two of the organizers of SCC and spent a couple hours just talking with them...so I guess that counts as a good start. I haven't had a chance to use the camera yet, but trust me...I will. We're going to make an early night of it, since there isn't much of anything going on yet at the Convention/conference.

I'll post updates as often as I can, and upload pics when I get them.

Hugs 'n love,
Catherine Linda Michel

I need to talk to one of you.

OK, got my counseling appointment delayed until next week. So, if you all wish, I can get on an Airplane on Thursday and be in there Thursday evening. Who did you use for the plane ticket, Holly? Gee, I have never done this before, so I am a little lost.

I have a dentist apointment first thing in the morning, but will be home by early afternoon, and I will try to skype someone. That or you can simply email me at [email protected] with anything you want to pass along.

Nothing really happens

... until Wednesday/Thursday at SCC. I've been to four and there are some really nice folks there. Some of the 'leaders' in our little community is at the IFGE table and they are in general very nice people. Hope you brought your swimming gear as there is a pool and during SCC we pretty much own it. For some reason non-SCC guests don't seem to use it during this time *rolls eyes*.

My only complaint about SCC is that it is actually kinda too short as activities occur within basically a four day period and the seminars overlap too much at times as a consequence and they happen too early in the morning ! ;-). The voice stuff is worth going to as it can introduce you to the proper mindset you have to be in to properly perceive and change your voice. I myself was basically self-taught but I had the essential element of having somebody giving me unbiased criticism of my attempts. *gets off soapbox*.

Have fun ! BTW, I know a number of the presenters there, especially Holly Boswell, Jessica McKinnon, who is my moderator in my support group as well as Jennifer Barge who will be presenting the makeup thing. There are a lot of nice folks but beware the tranny chasers in the hotel bar.

Oh well.
