it wasn't the most efficient dress to wear to rob banks - but then it's not something in which I have much experience. I have more in being robbed by banks.

A lot of people would agree with you. However I can't grumble too much about my bank, as they've given me a graduate package which includes no fees for accounts, ATMs and EFTPOS transactions. Apparently there's also an interest-free overdraft facility, not that I've ever used it.

Given that I've worked as a school teacher for nearly 30 years, I'm fairly amazed and grateful that I qualified for this deal. It's going to take at least another two years to finish my doctorate, which will mean I will have benefited for a total of seven years. As I say, I can't grumble.

A Palmerston North judge granted a cross-dressing bank robber's wish by sending him back to prison.

"I was released from prison in 2007 and I knew nothing else so I wanted to come back to prison, Your Honour," Cassidy said in a softly spoken voice while wiping away tears.

The unemployed Marton man, who has identified as a woman for the past five years, wore high heels when he robbed Feilding's Kiwibank inside the Take Note bookshop on June 29...
