Hey everyone, I really am sorry that I have been gone for like forever from the site, but my health did take a turn for the worse. I'll start at the beginning for those who do not know me.

On November 1, 2001, I had a major, non-crippling stroke, caused by high blood pressure and a few other health factors. From that time I was placed on home rest, and not permitted to go to work. My doctor, in 2004, was going to give me a stress test to see if I could go back to work.

Two weeks later, on May 24, 2004, I was having a heart attack, and was rushed to the hospital. They placed in a stent in one of the 2 blocked arteries, but couldn't get a stent into the other artery. They sent me home after 3 days. Everything went fine until Christmas Day, 2005, when I had an episode of tachycardia arrhythmia. That is a very fast beating of the heart. My heartrate was 212 beats a minute, and I was admitted as in-patient after being in the ER for 3 hours. I was taken from the ER to ICU, where I was observed 24/7 for 2 days. Then I was taken to the regular cardiac floor, where I stayed until January 4, 2006.

But before I was allowed to go home, The heart rhythm specialist implanted an ICD in my upper left chest area, leaving a nice visible scar, so that I have to wear tops to cover it. In the summer that is going to make me perspire like crazy. The implant surgery was on December 29, 2005. And as I said tho, on January 4, 2006, I was finally allowed to go home. Can you spell B O R E D? ICD stands for Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator, and there are 2 leads from the ICD going into the right ventricle of my heart. I don't need caffiene, because I am literally "WIRED". (Giggles).

But I am back now, and Chapters 16 and 17 of Chrissie have been posted. I am working on chapter 18 right now. For those of you who do not know, there really is a "Chrissie", but that is not her real name, and she is a genetic girl, who showed me who I really was at an early age. She also helps me write these chapters too, because her memory is a lot better than mine, and right now, with all of my medical problems,I need all the help she can give me.

Thnx all, for understanding.

With best wishes always,

your very dear friend,
Barbara Lynn Terry
