I actually found this site trying to track down more kid camper stories by Little Maggie, Holly Happy Heart, and crew.
then hung around after reading Lily's Magic by Elsbeth, followed by all the DRU stories and those authors stories in other story verses.
Then after a while I got the Balls to actually register and comment on the sight.
I will leave kudos, but I do not comment on stories in progress much because to be honest I never know where an author is going till I read all of a story.

The saddest thing for me is that since I have been coming to this sight I have had to watch the Memorial wall grow first seeing Bob Arnold's name added and then so many more. the world is dimmer with there light from it extinguished, and I dread seeing more names added every time I visit.

But I see many more authors come and worry over those that are MIA. I am awed at there ability to write, creative writing has become so hard for me after some of the Meds I was put on for Depression seem to have messed up my creativity and I can come up with ideas but never a whole story. But that is life so I try and muddle on.

I also miss the thing on the account page that gave your last login. I've been logging in, just so busy all I do is read while on breaks at work.

I agree on that memorials part. I see the names and think of the stories we've lost.

That 'Last Login'...

...turned out to be a login date/time for the person who was looking on the page, not for the person whose page it was. It was the same date for everyone you looked up, including deceased authors. (It wasn't necessarily the most recent visit because of persistent logins.)

There was no way to tell whether someone was still viewing the site on occasion. (The "track" page, which also looked promising, apparently updates every time someone makes a change or addition -- including a comment -- to a page the person ever visited; again, looking up people on the In Memoriam listing shows that.)

I'm not an admin, and don't know whether the lack of a "most recent visit" line is a privacy issue or one of logistics. I'd sure like to know who's no longer even checking in, though.

I had noticed that my self

I had noticed that as well, it would say they had logged in but when you looked at active users they were not online.
