I have changed computers and the OS from XP to Win 7 and every time I take any action I am logged out and have to log back in or even if I do nothing. Is there something I'm missing as my last upgrade was about 5 years ago but that was from another XP machine.

I appreciate any help.

Caching

Somewhere between you and us, there is a cached page that is showing you are logged out. You aren't. Doesn't work that way. You need to delete this cached page. It is probably in your browser cache but it might be in your ISPs cache.

Frequently when I get this problem, I just force reload the main page with shift-reload and it clears up.

Erin I could

hug your neck you seem to know everything. I cleared my history and it seems to be working as it should. Crossing my fingers.

Caches

Concurr with Erin. Here we have just recovered from virgin media cache always setting BC on last Tuesdays page

Erin (et al.):

You may also want to check to see which BROWSER you are using to access BC. With the recent upgrades to Firefox (ver 52) and Chrome (April 2015 release), some NPAPI applets (Java, Silverlight, and some Flash content) are no longer supported, causing crashes. IE is, for now, still supporting these fully, as are Midori and Safari.

Flash and Silverlight

need to go the way of the Dodo especially, Flash.

If you are a Firefox user then moving to the ESR release might be a good idea. I've been using it for years. Far more stable than the maintream release.

As for Chrome I'd never use it. I don't want Google knowing what pages I visit. Yes you can block their data slurp but to me it is far easier to use a different browser.

My home page is DuckDuckGo.

No sense in feeding the beast but at least you can make up your own mind which you can't if you get a PC running Windows 10S

Yeah, Sam, I agree.
