Yup, once more my apologies. I really did expect to do a Nena posting today but instead I've been off enjoying myself!

So today it was a trip out to the little visited Holderness coast of East Yorkshire. Our lunch stop was Withernsea, for the UK readers think Blackpool without! Yup no tower, no beach, no attractions - well not actually much of anything except a brooding sea! We had a nice lunch mind at a nice price, just over a tenner for three of us!

Withernsea seafront!

Then it was a drive up the coast to Hornsea which is even less Blackpool before a stop for afternoon tea at a garden centre.

And so an hour or so back across God's own County to home has ended a pleasant day in an area I've previously rarely visited.

So anyway, all this fun means no internet today so i'm afraid you'll have to wait until Wednesday for more from my KB! There will be more Nena and yes the third instalment ofTrixiebell Heartswoon !

I'm glad you had a good day out.

Withernsea has some nice little cafes - and a Withernsea pirates festival an' a lighthouse.

If it was Sigglesthorne you stopped for tea at, I hope you didn't over-indulge in the cakes.

We're some pirates about but not many other people so I don't think it was the festival today!

Stopped at some place bit before Siggle's gaff, bit pricey - tea and cake cost more than roast dinners in W!

Need to go back out to take some windmill pics and there's a nice old crawler I fancy a pic of too parked just south of W. Maybe later in the year, get train out then ride back - good days ride!
