Well, I got some tentative good news about the money I am owed from Walmart. I got the last piece of info I needed to send in the forms they asked for, and mailed everything off today. I have been told that I should get a check early in the new year.

I don't know all the details but it sounds like you deserve something nice to happen to you, so I hope you have a really Happy Christmas. The story about your Mum was rather scary but thank goodness it had a happy ending. I bet she would have given Usain Bolt a run for his money in getting back to her home. It's incredible what happens when the adrenaline kicks in.
