Is anyone here having problems with Amazon or BN removing/prohiting their work. Amazon just refused to publish a very vanilla short story, I tried to publish. They said my work did not fit their guidelines or represent the image their company wants to present. (By the way it had nothing to do with monsters. It was about young man's psychological journey to the person, he felt she was meant to be.) It contained only musings/mild daydreams about sexual situations-no graphic descriptions. They referred me to the following article for an explanation of their position. NOTE that the article is from 2013.

judging by the number of forced femme, shemale(their name,not mine), cuckold, bondage, S&M, and other kinds of stories dominating their kindle store I highly doubt their crackdown is doing all that well. Like usual for these kind of crackdowns, the ones most affected are those who are doing it tastefully and not obscene.

That's just ludicrous. Censorship can be so arbitrary,
some idiots consider anything transgender obscene.
I remember the film Ma Vie en Rose getting an R rating in America
totally baffling because content wise it was pure as the driven snow.
Except it had a trans-child who knew who she was and what she wanted
And that was enough to freak out the ratings board. Good luck with AMAZON.

Held the view when it comes to any form of erotica that you pay to see or read. If enough people dislike it, then it will not make money and it will not be profitable to produce and thus fall into non existence.

As always it seems the outspoken moral minority feels they have to make rules for everyone else.
