If you've followed my recent blog posts then you'd know that I was having a mental health crisis to put it lightly. I went to a few psychiatrists and the last one said I needed an evaluation inpatient at a hospital. Needless to say I wasn't thrilled but I did meet up with an old friend from high school while in there who tried to commit suicide. I'm not out of the woods yet but I am just outpatient at the hospital now after a week inpatient. For those who don't know the difference between Outpatient and Inpatient: Inpatient means your actually staying in the psychiatric ward itself in one of the rooms. Outpatient means you come in during the day but don't actually stay there.

While I was inpatient I started to write some of my stories again and needless to say I have up to chapter 9 of Broken Phoenix and 5 chapters of another story that's in the works.

If you're curious as to my diagnosis I can't necessarily give you one at the present because well, they haven't come to a definite conclusion as to what I have. Some of the staff thought I was Bipolar but I've never had a mania episode in my life. The way my depression episode was going it sure as hell seemed like I was Bipolar. But the main Doctor quickly said that there's no way I was Bipolar. From what my therapist was telling me when I was inpatient they think I may have a severe case of depression and a minor case of ADD(which I never noticed) They have put me on medication for the time being and it seems to work ok so far. It's not perfect but I am noticing a major difference now in how I feel.
