Birthdays Are Reminders
From the first one we remember to all those following, birthdays are reminders of all the highlights in our life. The goals we dreamed of and aimed for when we were kids. The world we thought we would change. The change we made to fit into the world.
You will probably never know how much of a difference you made in this world. The lives you touched, the emotions and dreams others put into words as you allowed them to share with the world. You may not be in congress changing minds and laws. The sharing of dreams is a stealth way of changing laws and minds and is more acceptable to most.
I would say Happy Birthday Erin but I think you are the one giving out the gifts. May He find a special place in His heart for you and all those like you.
