Well, well, well.

Today, I realised that the past few weeks have just flown by.

In March I have:

- 'had' a granddaughter
- driven nearly 1,500 miles in my little(ish) car
- had a delightful lunch with the equally delightful Angharad
- done my tax returns
- found out how to start claiming my pension from various sources
- sold some of my investment wines
- signed a few contracts with lawyers and other interested parties
- investigated rental v purchase options in numerous areas of the UK as I might return to the UK in the next couple of years when I get to fully pensionable age
- dealt with doctors, hospitals, operations (no, not THAT one) and convalescent recovery
- lost my overview and detailed grasp of strings in J o B and it's taken 16 days to get back into the swing of things

The really amazing thing about JoB is that I threw in a side trip for Julina down to Tranidor mostly to fill in the time that I knew Penny would not be able to post anything on SEE, a sort of keep the customers ticking over in Palarand exercise really.
That side trip, originally thought to be two, maybe three chapters, has doubled that and taken on a bit of a life of its own. It is now complete and the follow up chapter is done too (the Royal Party arrive in BS) - it just needs final polishing.

What truly staggers me is that Penny and I discussed the arrival of the Royal Party what I thought was a few weeks ago. Penny has written a shortish bit about their arrival from another viewpoint than Julina's. When I checked the eMails of this exchange of ideas, I am shocked to see that this was nearly 8 months ago!!!! Back in early September no less. That's how long the yet-to-come scenario has been in the cooking pot.

Where oh where has all that time gone? And did I use it wisely?

Now, all I have to do is to solve my difficulty of introducing the wonderful Penny and her writing skills into what is supposed to be a series of chronicles written by a resident of BS.

What do you think of me getting Merry to talk with Julina, and thus getting the third person PoV in that way?

Any other suggestions?

All the best

Julia

Updated your will?

My mother never did... now I'm fighting with my family to get what my mother left me just because its been 30 years since it was made.

So even if you change nothing... add a line to it and refile it.
