The Kansas City Royals have won the World Series 4-1. They came back to beat the New York Mets in the 12th inning of game 5, 7-2, after the Mets had a 2-0 lead for 8 innings. Hats off to the New York Mets for playing a hard-fought series. They were a class act.
On a side note, the Chiefs won in London! Good day for KC sports.

and the mighty Case struck out . The Mets where going to loose the series anyway so it just happened faster .I am a Mets fan.
I don't understand why they felt the need to leave Harvey in the 9th inning , was it a ego thing ? It is going to be a long winter for Mr. Harvey

My condolences on the upcoming loss of several of your key players to teams with more money and a desire to get back on top. I know the vultures...I mean media here in Boston are already drooling over some of them.

At Twickenham, the proper game with the oval ball reached the 2015 Rugby World Cup climax. New Zealand beat Austrailia in a thrilling game. Far more action there than with the US game and no commercial breaks every time play stops.

I tried to get into rugby once, but I got lost in all of the rucks and scrums. Though one of my favorite Friends episodes was Ross playing rugby to impress his girlfriend.
