James and I saved the world again from the nasty people who do nasty things to other folk. Well he did most of the saving, I was watching his back, then in gratitude he runs off with a younger woman at the end of it! Honestly, men!

The stunts are amazing, everything is over the top, so I can recommend it and it has the lovely Daniel Craig - what more could you want? Just some popcorn or sweeties...

Oh yeah, no time to write Bike - I knew there was something else...

Glad you enjoyed the movie. Thanks for the recommendation. I look forward to the next chapter of Bike.

p.s. Thanks for the meeting we had and enjoyed. I appreciate you taking time out of your day.

I shall have to rent it ...

I have not seen that version of it. Should be lovely. So is Cathy going to have some more "James Bond" moments?

Gwen

Who is Cathy's favourite James Bond?

I guess Pierce Brosnan with the excuse that he supports several environmental charities - I know that really it would just be because of his looks and accent.

Dunno about Cathy,

But I quite liked Timothy Dalton who was probably the best actor to play Bond if not the most charismatic. Mind you I wouldn't kick Daniel Craig out of bed.

I was a little disappointed

I thought Quantum was much better, it was more serious, like the first few JBs before they became stupid.

But most of the audience were laughing at JB's antics, rather than gasping with dismay at the danger he faced.

Even more incredible than the stunts was that Rome's streets were deserted. Normally a car chase there would have to take place at 3mph!

I still

wanna DB10 0-60mph in 3.2 seconds faster than the average jet fighter.

Amusingly...

...I read somewhere that all Bond actors bar Daniel Craig would have been ineligible to join the real Secret Intelligence Service as they're too tall (after all, you really don't want someone who stands out in a crowd to be an agent / intelligence officer!)

Then again, when watching Bond you have to suspend your disbelief for the entire film and take things at face value, remembering it's set in a parallel universe where intelligence agencies, physics and chemistry all work quite differently to real life... not to mention the protagonist having seduction skills on a par with Dennis "Tip" Wilkin...
