I found yet another dodge top display translations/definitions. Found this one while reading Wanda Cunningham's "Danny's Girl" chapter 4.

Interesting

On Iceweasel 38.2.0 (an unbranded version of Firefox) under Debian Wheezy I get a superscripted "2" at the end of the word "pua" (the 'a' has an accent I haven't reproduced).

Now I'm not certain but I'm pretty sure that there isn't a superscripted "2" in the Italian alphabet :)

That's in the original.

That's in the original.

In one of the crashes and restores in the last couple of years, text containing non-ASCII characters didn't transfer properly.

To get technical they were stored as (probably) UTF-8, but got transferred as if they were ISO-Latin-1. So various "foreign" characters became 2-3 character nonsense sequences.

In this case, "á²" should be a single accented character.

Erin & co have fixed some of them, but they there's no way they are going to check the entire site for them.

Since I have no idea what the right character in the Italian was, I left the mangled version alone.
