You have got to check out the episode of this show that airs this week.
Its on HBO Sundays at 8pm Pacific Time. It also repeats a bunch of times during the coming week.
He does a nearly 30 minute RANT on the overlooked rights of transgender people.
Its entirely in favour of us. It even has a few moments that make you laugh at the absurdity of it.
a quote "Some transgender people do go on to have hormone replacement and sex reassignment surgery as part of their transition and some do not and interestingly enough their decision is medically speaking NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS..."
check it out if you get hbo. It might even be on youtube in a week or two.

Wow. That was amazing!
I hope everyone who comes to this site gets to see this segment. It made me feel so good knowing that there are people out there who aren't transgendered who do really understand!

I have to say he's one of the few people that are in media who know how to call a spade a spade. Very well said - quite frankly one of the best 'news' pieces I've ever seen on our issues! John Oliver, John Stewart, and Stephen Colbert and that whole old Comedy Central crew have long since become more reliable newscasters than the talking heads on the main networks! Not sure what prompted this specifically, but definitely well done. Wish my parents could get over some of that stuff... (There's a reason I will probably never be 'out' to anyone, least of all them)
