Is it just with my mobile devices?

Some weeks ago all of the non-ASCII characters on all of my mobile devices became broken. I mean umlauts, French and German accents, and German specific letters.
Just going through Maddy Bell's Nena stories once again and all of the non-ASCII characters {which are numerous as all of the action takes place outside of USA) are displayed as 2 or 3 unicode characters.
Cheked it so far on google browser on android 3.5, latest versions of Opera and Chrome on android 5-something on the phone and tablet. Latest Safari on freshly updated iPhone 4S. Had not yet bothered enough to turn on my gaming rig to check it on PC versions of browsers.
But same letters are shown correctly when viewing other sites in the same browsers and operating systems...
Am I the only one to have this problem?

I'd say it was your mobile device for sure. My Galaxy Tab 4 is running 4.4.2 and I use Firefox mobile for a browser and the accent marks in "Das Ist Normal" are fine.

Maybe it's your android version. Check with someone running the same version.

All of the characters are OK on...

...the other sites, including FM, on all of the devices. And 2 differnt android versions on three devices plus iOS on iPhone and just checked it on iPad (yep I'm amazed myself how many devices I have around me :-) )...
Only other possible explanation that CloudFlare somehow corrupts data sent to Russia...

Which mobile devices?

IOS was recently updated to a new interim version, and the phone company just updated my cell to a new version of Android and their own software load. Have you checked your devices to ensure that any additional languages were re-enabled after the updates?

I mentioned the list...

Android 4.1.1 on tablet (sorry, this tablet was originally 3.5 and I forgot that it updated some time ago), Android 5.0.2 on th phone and another tablet. iOS 8 something on iPhone 4S.
And another thing - same browsers on same operating systems on same devices show all of the proper characters on other sites like dw.de, or on FM. If there were problems on any other sites I wold have being checking my devices and their settings, but this behavior is only limited to BCTS and it only started couple of weeks ago.
Interesting what you will se here (it is one of the words I copied from Nena story):Tá¶nnisstein
