Why We Should All Celebrate Life

People from minority groups waste so much time feeling inferior, settling for less, pretending to be “normal”.

We owe it to those who have died to blossom and never apologise for wanting, seeking and getting what everyone else has.

Up and down the country, people from all backgrounds are feeling pain and losing hope. Even if you don’t know any trans people, today is a great reminder of how lucky we all are to simply be here. Life is a beautiful, fickle, temporary thing. Mourn those who are no longer around to enjoy it – and celebrate yours.

Can't catch all the signs

So many we have lost as they lose all meaning to life and take that final step to stop the suffering, the pain. We look, we share, we feel their happiness and their sorrow. Then we try and be the net at the bottom when they have tossed out all hope. Dying no longer scares them. It is a comfort waiting to embrace them and remove all their heartaches and suffering.

Not all signs are the same. Some are so much more careful at showing a smile, laughing, and sharing happy moments when it is their last days or hours to be on this earth alive. They made that final decision. All the burdens of the world they have felt all their life is soon to be ended. They couldn't be happier it is coming to an end. A gifted life so full of promises to change the world is soon gone.

It wouldn't take a fortune in money, a lifetime of commitment, nor years of hard labor to change most of that. A few kind words, a hug, encouragement telling them they aren't alone usually suffice. But the real deal is to tell them, "No matter what, no matter where you are, if you need me or anyone to talk to, any time day or night. Call me. If possible I'll be there for you. If it isn't possible I'll move heaven and earth to make it happen." And mean it. Not only to them but to yourself in the very depths of your soul.

The greatest reward in the world is when someone says, "You saved my life." And I tell them, "No, God did. I just happen to be the vessel to carry the message. No matter what, God loved you more than most. He gave you a double helping of boy-girl because you are special to Him. Use His gift as you wish for it is truly a gift of love."
