My 10 year anniversary snuck (sneaked for those of you across the pond) by me last month. I'm an avid reader and sometimes author/contributor here. I have made myself a promise to get more of my stuff posted here. I have several stories completed that had been posted on my now defunct web site and need to be cleaned up a bit before I post them here. I really need to get motivated to do that.

Then there's the dozen or so that I've started and not completed sitting on my hard drive in various staged of completion. I refuse to post a story that's not complete because it's a great disappointment to me when someone else posts and leaves me hanging, waiting for the conclusion of the story, so I won't contribute to the incomplete stories list.

I can't wait to read those stories you mentioned. I look forward to it, have a great day and be safe.

Ms Allen, those stories setting on the HD will turn into lost memories IF you don't save them to a jump drive and back them up. Computers are evil machines designed to tease you into placing all your valuable information inside them like a Brigs Safe to be kept unblemished forever.

Ahhh, me pretty, nothing could be further from the truth. They lull you into a false sense of all is well as you put more and more data in them until..., Yes, they reveal themselves for the truly evil creatures they are as they refuse to give any of it back. You can cry, beg, demand, offer sacrifices to the gods to no avail as they have no heart and only an evil soul. The really evil ones will offer up bits and pieces to torment you into madness thinking they will give back all of it. Only when you're driven insane trying to pry your most intimate valuable data from them, they cackle then drive the final nail in as wisps of smoke pour out from their innards. And then you know from the beginning they never intended to give any data back.

Hugs kid,
always,
