that I wish I had written the story... and shockingly enough, it was a story that

My mind is totally blown, my eyeballs are sweating and my heart is filled to bursting. I have just gotten lost in the most incredible movie. I would strongly encourage everyone who wants a deeper understanding to go on Netflix and watch "Boy meets Girl". Then let me know what you think.

A TMC advertisement mentioned ten(10) movies to show to someone who didn't know old movies. It didn't mention any specific movie. So I made my own list:

MSNBC just ran a nice story about Rep. Mike Honda's granddaughter; now eight years old and started identifying as a girl at 2.

There is an upcoming TV prog called Transgender Kids.
It is scheduled for BBC-2 (UK) on Sunday at 21:00.

The presenter (Louis Theroux) travels to San Francisco to look at a programme where transgender children are being helped to live in the sex of their choice rather than the one of their birth.

I was bored today and found this really good movie on Netflix today called Ghost Graduation. Its sorta Sixth Sense meets Breakfast Club, a teacher who sees ghosts tries to help a group of teenage ghosts pass on by helping them graduate highschool. Anyway, there a couple of quick possession scenes in there---well one is quick, the other is a few minutes long.

I highly recommend the movie to everyone though, it was really good.

Its from Spain so there is subtitles but after awhile I always forget I'm reading them lol.

Predestination is an Australian movie released in 2014, starring Ethan Hawke and Sarah Snook. It's based on the Robert Heinlein short story 'All You Zombies'.

The film received critical acclaim for Snook's outstanding portrayal of a character who at first appears to be a woman transitioning to male, but her story is much, much stranger than that.

Although the version here isn't of the very highest quality, it's certainly watchable.

I said some time ago that I had never seen 'The Princess Bride', so a lot of in-jokes escaped me. It was shown on UK television recently, so I caught up with it on the I-Player internet system. I enjoyed it... but it was largely filmed on familiar ground.

Reading today's local paper I discovered that the local Community College is putting on a production of Leading Ladies (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leading_Ladies). A farce.

Just wanted to pass along a heads-up regarding the new movie "Boxtrolls" - according to reports on Facebook, the movie is very anti-trans, hitting all the low points. The villain apparently dresses up as a woman as part of his schemes, he's sexually embarrassed almost continually while dressed, when he is finally unmasked he attempts to destroy everybody while still in a dress but minus the wig, and worst of all, some of the men who were harassing him say that they dodged a bullet insofar as they didn't do worse than grope him.

I was on Amazon and saw the Unreachable has received its 60th review. That is quite amazing considering how many fans won't leave a review in fear of being outed. I would like to get to a hundred one day. The reviews are quite interesting to read, a lot are positive, one or two are downright mean or off their rocker. But people from all walks of life are saying something and a lot of the reviews are not from the trans community (why you shouldn't fear leaving a review because you might be outed, you would just seem enlightened).

I was watching part of a Dr. Who episode and wondered what actors could have played Dr. Who. My favorite past Doctor was Davidson.

When Glee started it was one of my favourite programs. Sadly, the season has been a colossal disappointment.From the very first episode there were signs that they had no-where to go.

It is that time of year again. Yes folks it is Eurovision time again.

Here's a press release about a new series with a (fairly) sympathetic transgender character on Welsh language TV.

Has anybody watch the new show on NBC called "Believe" It was on Last Saturday at 9:00 then its regular time is 9:00 on Mondays. After watching both eposites I felt I was watching/reading one of the stories from here like Morphues - Round to round. I think I'll like it but need to watch more to decide that. For more than 40 years my wife and I have been trying to figure out the name of a movie we had seen on late night television in Little Rock in the late 60s.. One of the stations stayed on all night. That was a big thing then. After the last late night show was over, they'd play old movies. This was before we started going together. There was a particular movie that we saw several times. It had a music theme that was built around a piano concerto. It may have been Rachmaninoff or Grieg.

There are many words that could describe this evening's Doctor Who Christmas special. I'll use just one of them.

Ok so, recently the main member of the popular tv show voiced his opinion of homosexuality, this angered the LGBT community.

I just saw Le Proces de Jeanne d'Arc (1962) (in French with English subtitles that are more or less adequate, as these things go) and was struck that the huge problem for the Holy Church of the time was Jeanne's cross-dressing. Evidently, hearing voices and seeing angels was more-or-less fine, but doing it whilst ‘dressed inappropriately’ was anathema. TMTC,tMTStS.
