Posh Frocks

I retrieved my steed and headed into town, I really wasn't looking forward to this! The posh frock shop, otherwise known as Eloise Couture is one of those places with the mannequins in the window wearing long dresses with prices that have too many noughts behind the numbers – and Mum was sending me here.

This chapter deals with the outcome of the incident. The issue is not resolved yet because Arfon is still at large and now even more dangerous having been humiliated. Future scenarios and hopes are also described. Daphne is now 'out' to the police in Machynlleth. It seems she will have to come out fully in short order.

Chapter 5 ~ One More Time

The Story So Far:

Gail and Leo are aliens who crash on earth. Neither Aunt Emma, who found them and took them in, nor anyone else can tell, since they are disguised as humans. Barry finds an invisibility device and sets off another device that turns Gail's crush, Kevin into a Silurian which is another kind of alien. Leo catches Barry turning into a Silurian and puts him in stasis. Gail lets Kevin go free to go home to his transgirl sister Linda. Kevin finds he can do magic when he turns Linda into a born girl. Gail impersonates an angel and frightens Kevin and Linda into keeping quiet and Kevin quitting using magic. Gail and Leo fill in Aunt Emma on the whole mess. Emma has Gail and Leo turn her into a Silurian to try to fix things.

Chapter 2

"Andy, Andy, wake up, you're having a bad dream," the young soldier said to his bunk mate.

"Lucian, I'm OK," his bunk mate said.

She couldn't possibly tell him the contents of the dream. She was surrounded by Confederate soldiers who had discovered her true identity. They were about to assault her when her bunk mate woke her up.

As predicted, it was raining the next morning, so I got as close to Debbie’s house as I could. She ran out and jumped in the truck.

“So how did your night go?” I asked her. “Anything interesting?”

“In my life? I’m not the one with precognitive visions and major magical abilities! Until the weekend, I am the definition of boredom. TV and homework are my life, leftovers are my dinner. I didn’t even see Mom last night, which is the way things have been lately. How about your evening?”

“She’s never given you any kind of clue as to what the project is she’s working on?”

Garia tries to concentrate on her next goal, that of riding in public. However, she is increasingly distracted, and seems completely unaware of the approaching storm that is about to engulf her... and Keren. It is left to the Queen to gather up the pieces and to provide an example for Garia to follow.

"Your honor, I believe there is a bit more to this recording that might help to clear things up for everyone." Mr. Darvin said. The judge gave him the go ahead to play the rest of the recording. Aunt Karen looked smug, probably figuring she'd won. She even glared at me with a smile, which was a weird combination if you ask me. But the smile went away fast!

"My aunt is crazy! Please, if anybody sees this, GET ME OUT OF HERE!" I said in the recording.

Part 11

The next day I decided to expose the children to the rest of humanity and took them for a walk along Southbank. They wanted to practice flying, but I instilled on them the importance of appearing normal and they accepted for now it would be a strange thing to do if no one else could do it.

O'Lantern's Halloween Costumes has a reputation for very 'special' Halloween costumes so it should be the perfect place for Bryan to find the perfect costume for his school costume party.

There is an old saying that periodically makes the rounds of schools. It’s really silly and quite impossible but at the same time holds a strange fascination for those who hear it. It’s mostly used by girls to tease boys. “If you kiss your elbow you change into a girl”. The near physical impossibility of kissing your own elbow is one of the more unusual parts of this childhood mythology. According to the legends, a peck to the elbow would bring about an instantaneous sex change. For most boys, it was a threat of a terrible fate, something never to do. After all, most kids would never want to be a member of the opposite sex; they're icky, and may even have cooties! The most common version of the myth was that kissing your elbow at any time would cause a sex change. It doesn't matter if it's by accident or intent, if your lips touch your elbow, you're going to have to start using the other restroom. Some variations of the myth had a certain ritual you had to perform to become the other sex, such as spinning around in a circle ten times under a full moon before giving the kiss that will turn a boy into a girl. Obviously, no matter how much ritual is involved, it doesn't work... or does it?

I am 19 years old and have gynecomastia. I just saw my doctor and she explained what I have. I am sick, emotionally sick to hear this. I can’t believe my chest has developed so much and the doctor says I will develop more, that I have this disease.

I am a little overweight and that is what I thought was my problem, why my chest was bigger than normal. I started hurting around my upper chest and went to my doctor.

Chapter 9

January snow blew hard against the cabin, building a thick blanket over the mountain, covering it in white. Kodiak had left the cabin and was heading to the smokehouse for meat that had been cured late in the fall. It was unmistakable that I was pregnant; there was no way to doubt the fact that our kicking child was growing inside of me.

Kodiak had become quite the caretaker of me. He wouldn't allow me to do anything physical. Though we had been forced to sleep in the same bed, only to stay warm...he never once had done anything to take advantage of our predicament...though, why would it matter now. I waited at the kitchen window for him to return, slowly sipping on my coffee. I too had grown accustomed to the fact that I would be a mother, slowly warming up to the undeniable truth that it would happen whether I liked it or not.
